The sales pipeline: the board that shows where the money is
Understand the pipeline stages and why keeping the board up to date makes your numbers reliable.
The pipeline organizes each opportunity in stages, from the lead's arrival to the close. Seen as a board, it shows at a glance how many deals exist, where they are and which ones are stalled.
The stages
The default pipeline follows the most common path of a sale:
- Lead: the person showed interest.
- Qualification: you understood their need and timing.
- Proposal: the offer was presented.
- Negotiation: terms are being adjusted.
- Won or Lost: the outcome.
Stages can be renamed and reorganized to reflect how you work. A clinic might have "Assessment booked"; an accounting firm, "Diagnosis sent". You can also have more than one pipeline, such as one for new customers and another for renewals.
What each card shows
Deal value, company, phone, owner, tags, source, the next reminder and the next appointment.
Filters
Search by name or filter by priority, tag, owner and location to focus on what matters now.
Why keep the board up to date
An outdated pipeline shows a company that does not exist. When every card is in the right stage, the dashboard tells the truth about conversion, the team knows who needs attention and the owner sees how much is being negotiated.
tripaulx AI agents
The pipeline is one of the tools tripaulx AI agents use every day. In Missus, the support agents qualify the lead and book the meeting on the calendar, while the CRM Manager reads every conversation and moves the card forward when it meets the stage criteria. tripaulx works as an AI operating system for companies: the agents use the same tools as your team, such as Missus, Customers and Scheduling, and they work together.
